So my org (the Ateneo Association of Communication Majors – ACOMM) recently held a year-ender party at 7th High (formerly ASCEND) in the Fort. And I daresay that it was A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Aside from the promos looking so fine and hipster (look below), the party itself was a total blast.
Enjoying the party with my favorite people which were my block and ACOMM despite my co-existent assent to it being a big pain in the neck (literally) actually says a lot since I’m not one to enjoy parties as much as I did before. And at least for a night or a moment for what it seemed, I was able to forget all those worries about school, graduation, etc and just let loose! Although I have to admit that even that night, I was in a pretty haggard place couple of hours before doing two gigs with Insignia hustling from Timog to Ortigas then finally, to the Fort. In any case, the party to me felt more like a taste of what’s to come in our trip to Bora with all of our batchmates where all of us Ateneans get to party together on an isolated island off the metropolis and I couldn’t help but get crazy excited with the prospect. I don’t know about you guys but I’ll be partying like it’s 2012 in a few weeks’ time with such awesome awesome people!! I salute Crash Course and ACOMM for throwing one hell of a party and for outdoing this taste test I discovered myself.
