Bieber Fever: The Concert & Afterparty

I knew I would write about this the second I had my hands on a computer despite the creeping backlog of events that have yet to be given their own space. Last night however was just too epic for me to let each minute pass without writing about it. There were two things that happened last night: Justin Bieber’s concert and the Afterparty. Both of which were amazing and have led me to the conclusion that the night was one of the best nights of my life.

All I can say about JB’s concert was that it was worth it. It was everything I imagined despite the crowd and the heat. The lights, the songs, POREOTICS 🙂 and JB’s performances were really great. They had us singing along the whole time  for us cousins and Tibs. I’m sad I can’t say the same thing for some of the crowd though. In any case, I really enjoyed the concert. I think about all the days of listening to Justin Bieber in the car while going to places and how it led to this eventful night. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to and I’m glad I got to experience it with my cousins and Tibs. 🙂 Sulit na sulit. It was two hours filled with Bieber’s original songs, other renditions, dance freestyles and singing numbers from Legaci (Justin’s back-up singers which were an all-Filipino group). Everyone was standing on their chairs, listening to Bieber’s voice while mists of water sprinkle on us, it was quite a concert experience.

The kid beliebers!

Pat upon finding out that she wasn’t the one less lonely girl hahaha!

❤ ❤ ❤

Sadly, I still don’t get why a lot of people diss and hate on JB like listening to his songs was such a crime. His songs may not be the best songs ever written but what he has given the world has transcended beyond his music. He’s given a lot people reason to be happy through his songs and has helped a lot to cope with their problems which is more than I can say for a lot of us. If his simplicity, down-to-earth demeanor and humility inspite of everything aren’t enough, I have lost all sense in understanding what the problem really is.  If millions of people have become fans of JB, there must be a reason why.

On to the part that made last night one of the best nights of my life.

We went straight to the Afterparty. Thank you to Kars Santiago, you are a godsend. If it weren’t for you.. I wouldn’t have met.. wait for it.. wait for it.. the POREOTICS! That’s right, POREOTICS was in the building!! I couldn’t believe my eyes but there they were, dancing on stage.

Look at them dance the dougie! 🙂

Of course I couldn’t let them have all the fun. So when I saw a fellow dancer of mine (Hi Miles!) from ADS (Allstars Dance School), we knew we just had to get up on stage too.

Guess who?

That could probably be the epitome of taking the bull by the horn in my life record. The best part of dancing on that stage was catching a glimpse of some of the Poreotics look at us from their table and Kenny, JB’s bodyguard who happened to be the emcee of that party was cheering us on.  Unfortunately, JB wasn’t there cause he was sick as a lot were told. He was vomiting between songs but still chose to give a great show and finish the set. He literally had the Bieber Fever as Tibs would tease.

In the end, I got what I wanted.. a picture with two-time USA Hip Hop International and America’s Best Dance Crew Season 5 Champions, POREOTICS

and a remarkable concert experience with Justin Bieber. 🙂
