Hacienda Virata

This is a late post but to not post this would be a shame. ACOMM 8, particularly the Executive Board had a reunion at Hacienda Virata, Cavite last April! Yay yay yay

To say Hacienda Virata means to say that our good old Vice President for Doc&Pub, Xavier Virata owns the ranch and is actually an equestrian. Yes, an equestrian, the one who competes in horseback riding tournaments. You must imagine my excitement when I saw the horses all lined up at the barn.. I almost believed I was in the movie “Horse Whisperer”! I tried to contain my excitement the most graceful way I possibly could. Here are some pictures of me in attempt to do just that.

I was so happy when I got to ride the horse.

It was the usual stories over meals kind of thing and I missed every bit of it because I remembered college and how it felt like with these people. A lot has happened since we graduated and hearing all those stories was a mixture of emotions. I was both happy and sad to have left it.

However, I sure missed this!

Janyn Chua crying over..

Hahaha! All of us kept laughing once we saw Janyn and Bianca sobbing in the corner when the movie ended. It was their first time watching it so they were overwhelmed. I remember Janyn saying with her voice cracking.. “It hurts..” while going on to sobbing some more! Hahahaha! Laughtrip!
